Job Description:
As an a Associate Professor of Microbiology at Medical Colleges holds a senior faculty position within the Department of Microbiology, contributing significantly to teaching, research, and academic leadership in microbiological sciences.
This role involves advanced expertise in microbiology, mentorship of students and junior faculty, and active engagement in scholarly activities.
Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in microbiology, including specialized topics such as microbial physiology, immunology, microbial genetics, virology, and environmental microbiology.
Implement innovative teaching methodologies, technology-enhanced learning tools, and experiential learning activities to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Engage in outreach activities, public lectures, and community service initiatives to promote microbiological education, healthcare literacy, and public understanding of microbiology-related issues.
Serve as a resource to local and global communities, healthcare organizations, and public health agencies on matters related to microbiology, infectious diseases, and antimicrobial stewardship.
